Meeting Printerprezz

Today, we went to the facility of our sponsor, PrinterPrezz. They gave us a tour of their workshop, and educated us on the different types of 3D printers, materials, and how they used their 3D printing to Medifacture™ parts and implants for the human body. They also demonstrated how they used some of their different 3D printers, and we even got to look at their large metal powder printers. They also had lots of supplies for plastic 3D printing and even offered to print parts with the stronger plastic material and printers that they had on site. We learned a lot from the presentation, and in turn, we presented our autonomous and drove around our robot. After the presentations, we discussed ways to use their technology to upgrade/fix our robot with their staff. Their feedback was experienced and incredibly insightful, and we decided to implement some of their suggestions in the future.
